We got home from Vegas this morning at 2:30 a.m. It was a very fast 5 days and I am exhausted! We had such a great time though, it was worth it. We saw Le Reve' at the Wynn on Tues. night and it was awesome! The other show we saw was Phantom of the Opera and I have to say that it was Steve who wanted to see it, not me. We have seen it on Broadway and I just didn't think Vegas could do it justice. Wrong! The show was even more powerful this time around. I truly enjoyed seeing it and would recommend it to everyone who has the opportunity to go see it.
We did our share of eating....Enoteca Otto Pizzeria, a Mario Batali restaurant, Trattoria Reggiano, Zefferino's (all at the Venetian). The first Enoteca Otto Pizzeria is on 1st Ave. and 8th St. in NYC and we have eaten there many times. Steve will always say, its the best $80 pizza you'll ever eat. Ok, so its not inexpensive but man is it good. The Vegas outlet did not disappoint at all. In fact, I always have the Romano Pizza (I think thats what its called, it has romano cheese and a sunny side up egg on it. Sounds gross but its not!) in NYC and I did not see it on the menu. I asked the waiter about it and he said they make that occasionally as a special. He asked the Chef if he'd make it for me and he did! It was delish.
The best news is that I lost 1.4 lbs while we were there!

Doesn't my Steve have the most gorgeous blue eyes? This may be the last pic of him with his goatee as he is talking about shaving it on vacation....we'll see.
Tomorrow we are leaving for our Sandals at Emerald Bay Resort vacation. We will be gone for a week and I am hoping to be a complete beach bum! With a little luck, I will come back weighing the same as when I leave. That is always my wish for vacations and when I lose, well, let me tell you, that is truly a gift! I'll take it though!
I promise to take lots of pics at the resort!

I love the photos... You are traveling alot lately, as am I! I miss the blog world awful as well when I travel, but I love to travel so I take the bad with the good. Luckily, most hotels have the WiFi these days, but extra time on vacay is hard to come by. I hope you have a great time at Sandals and look forward to hearing and seeing all about it. *Maria*

I need my blogging fixes, too. I am of the opinion that we would not be as successful in our weight loss without blogging. It helps with the head part of losing weight, which is at least fifty percent of my battle.
Glad Vegas was fun and the food was fabulous. Now I really want to go see Phantom there. I bet it was amazing.
You're leaving again?? OK, have fun. I'm going south in February but that's still 3 months away. Wah Wah.
And Steve can't shave until December. November guys get to grow mustaches to promote Prostate health. I actually think it just gives them an excuse not to shave. My son told me, so it must be true.
wowie! you guys are always going somewhere! i'm jealous! if you ever need a personal assistant to travel with you and carry bags etc i'd be more than willing! lol
