Aloha! and picture post!

What a fantastic trip we had!  We got home on Easter Sunday and I swear, I am still not adjusted back to eastern time!  We spent 3 days in Oahu and let me tell you, if you need any advice on what to do or see while in Oahu, just ask Stephanie of Dreams of Skinny High Heels!  Her and her husband are very Hawaiianized (if thats even a word!) and gave us the best advice and we had a great time while there.  After Oahu, we boarded the NCL Pride of America Cruise Ship and sailed to Maui for 2 days, Hilo 1 day,  Kona 1 day, and Kauai for 2 days.  It was a great way to see all the islands!

The highlights of our trip was going to Pearl Harbor - very emotional, snorkeling at Molokini Crater, going to the top of Haleakala Crater at 3 a.m. and waiting for the sunrise and then mountain biking down! in Maui, ziplining in Hilo, and the helicopter tour we took in Kauai.  So many great memories.  We also met a couple on the second day of the cruise that we really bonded with and spent a lot of time with them in the evening.

I have to say, that doing all these activities while being 50+ lbs lighter made all the difference.  I wasn't worrying about what I looked like in a bathing suite or zipping over valleys while ziplining, etc.  I was just living and having fun!  NSV anyone?  I didn't even freak out the two times during the trip that I had to get on a scale fully dressed with sneakers on!  Once at the ziplining office and than again when we did the helicopter tour!  I weighed myself the day we got home and I was up 2 lbs but it was gone the next day.  All in all, I am back to where I was before the trip and I can now get back to my routine which I missed believe it or not!  Tomorrow will be my first day back to the gym and I can honestly say, I missed it!  Who knew?

Anyway, here are some pictures from our trip:

Photos are all frame worthy. LOVE them ALL!
The sunset over the pier brings tears to my eyes. I left a piece of my heart in Maui 8 years ago and I can't wait to go back with my hubby to show him.
Thank you for sharing your vacay with us!
