"You are really skinny!" That is what he said as I was standing at my kitchen counter yesterday. He than said "turn around" of course I turned the wrong way as he was interested in looking at my ass! He said it again "you are really skinny". Music to my ears but when will my eyes see what his do? I look in the mirror and still see fat thighs, wide hips and fat ass. Obviously they have gotten smaller because if they were the old size, I would never be fitting into size 8 pants, but still.
Will I ever be happy with what I see?

When you learn the answer, will you share the secret with me? I had my own NSV's this weekend, but I just can't get used to being in smaller clothing sizes. Steve is so sweet...I'm glad he is such a positive reinforcer and it's cute that he likes starting at your butt! :)

I'm not sure when you will see the changes for yourself. I rember reading a post by LBG of how she is just now finally accepting her new body. I guess it takes time.

Gotta love those comments don't you? Good for you being in a size 8. As for when you will see what he sees, why is it we are so unforgiving of ourselves? We only want perfection for ourselves. I'll bet you look terrific.
good for you!! it is sooo nice to hear it from the man you love! (as I am sure he thought you were beautiful before, he must be drooling now...how does he even distract himself to go tinker with the new toy?) keep it up!!
I don't know about happy....but definitely happiER than I was before. Are skinny women (those that are just born that way) totally happy with the way they look?
I still have fat in my eyes too. Not sure if that will ever go away, but I'd like to think so.
What a wonderful thing to hear! I bet you were on cloud nine. They say it takes quite awhile to see it and even accept that we are thinner.
I know that when I got down below a size 20 I was still going to those size of clothes in the stores to look. My daughter would remind me, mom those are all too big what are you doing!!
