The problem with Fit-Bit (and I have the older version) is that it is not an actual heart rate monitor. It monitors your movement, and that can be inacuare for this like weight lift, yoga, where movement is minimal but exhertion is more. I'm interested to see others post, because I would like to get a new one as well.

I am ashamed to admit that I have not used mine in some time and couldn't tell you off the top of my head what model it is :/
I have a Polar as well but haven't used it since I broke the watch part. The chest strap is somewhat useless without the watch... lol
I use a BodyMedia Fit, and love that, but I know many people like the FitBit...
