Oh Mylanta, I have been like a kid on Christmas morning, signing on each day and getting all excited to see my "followers"! Thank you, everyone who has stopped by! However, the term "followers" is a bit of an oxymoron (sp?) really. I look at all of YOU and want to follow in your footsteps (OMG, I originally typed in FOODsteps..you see where my head is at?) and become a bandster like the rest of you!
Gotta go to school now, last day and test! Yayyyy! Hubs is even up without my help today. I'll check back on all of you later!

Thank you! I only have to do 3 days of liquids so I guess I am lucky!

Hi Jacquie! You left me a message on my blog because I told you I'd gone to Hospital Angeles. I had a different surgeon, but I really had a great experience. Are you planning to stay extra time in Tijuana after you're released from the hospital? I believe one night hotel stay is included in your cost. I stayed one night at the hotel and I was actually really glad I did. It was nice to have a day to myself to recover before I had to deal with traveling. I think the Mexican hospital actually provides better care than US hospitals. It seems like pretty much everyone I've heard from was realeased from the hospital the day after the surgery. Plus you don't have to jump through all the insurance hoops. Please let me know if you have any questions!
Hey Amanda! Actually, I have 2 nights stay in the hotel included and I chose to use one in the beginning and one at the end because of the flights from FL. Let me explain: Mon. We will get to MX about 6 pm, they pick us up at the airport and bring us to the hotel. Tues. they will pick us up from the hotel and bring us to the hospital where I will have all my tests, meet with drs., nutritionist etc. Stay in hospital over-night and have surgery Wed. morning sometime. Stay in hospital Wed. night. Thurs. morning I'll have exam, x-ray etc., meet with dr and be taken over to the hotel for the night. Friday morning, back to San Diego and home to FL.
