Ok, so I am exaggerating....I am not packed but I just booked my airline reservations for B.O.O.B.s 2011!!! I cannot wait! I will be getting there on Thursday, 9/29 and leaving on Monday, 10/3. I have my roomies, Theresa and Vicki and I have a whole lot of other great women waiting for me in Chicago. If this year is anything like last year, it will go fast and before you know it, we will all be in Chi Town.
I just have to get through my daughters wedding without poking anyone in the eye, namely her father and/or his wife! I have promised my daughter I will be a lady and not do anything to get arrested for at her wedding. What could I do, right? But, if I get drunk and by accident happen to poke someone in the eye, that should be ok :) Actually, I am only kidding as I have too much class for that but man, after the wedding, class is outta here and the gloves will be off!
We are leaving this Saturday...road trip...for NY and the wedding is next Friday. I cannot believe it is here already. Every time I get off the phone with her these days I cry a little as I cannot believe that my beautiful little girl has grown into this beautiful young woman who is getting married!

So exciting! Don't let your ex take away anything from you at the wedding. Remember the best "revenge" is to look good and to be HAPPY!
What a fun time you will have. Enjoy!
Can't wait to see you in Chicago, and have a GREAT time at the wedding! Even if you do need to poke any eyes, at least we know for sure that you'll look smokin' hot doing it. :-D
Can't wait to see you!
Is it terrible that I think about my daughters getting married when they are only 12 and 15? It's not that I want them to rush into anything - I'm totally fine to wait until whenever they find Mr. Right (and please, Lord, let them find Mr. Right and not Mr. Wrong disguised as Mr. Right). I see them as each other's maid of honors and picture them as grown, beautiful brides. But don't get me wrong, I am enjoying them now. There are great girls with minimal to no attitude and know that a part of me will be heartbroken when they leave home. Anyway, I digress. You should totally poke anybody in the eye that you want. Just act like it was totally an accident.
So jealous - I hope you enjoy Chicago. I won't make it again this year...but I admit, I'm excited about the reason why.
Have fun on the road trip and why worry about poking eyes out. I mean, you can't help it if their eyes fall onto your fingers...
Let us know if you need to be bailed out of jail!
I sure hope I can go to BOOBS 2.0!
I'm so excited!!! I can't wait to hear all about the wedding...and any eye poking!
so sweet...and such an exciting time! you are blessed! enjoy sunshine!
I can't wait to eat a Hot Dawg with you in Chi town. And I so want to see your dress for the wedding. You will so rock the day! Enjoy being the MOB. It's your baby girl too.
Is it really already time for the wedding!! Oh, my how time flies. I can't wait to see pics of the beautiful bride and her beautiful mom.
So glad you are coming back to Chicago. It's b/c of you that I've been craving that popcorn (you told me we Illinois folks were keeping it a secret and I had NO IDEA about it. Garret's popcorn I think it was called. You let me have some of yours. SO GOOD)
Try to wait to poke the eyes out until out AFTER the photos.
Have fun!
Soooo exciting! Can't wait to see you again in Chicago!
Goodness you are organized!!! I am going. I have not made any reservations and just managed to log onto the list serve thingy.
so d you recommend roomies? I have gone back and forth..alone or roomates i barely know :)
xxxooo
I am sooo excited for you and can't WAIT to see the pictures!!
Yes, I know it is tempting, but maybe the eye poking can wait until after the wedding! You wouldn't want to get eye mook all over your beautiful dress, now would you?? Just teasing - can't wait for the pictures and stories!
Email me your flight info and let me know when you are getting into Chicago!! You'll be fine at the wedding...You're too much of a lady to get arrested at your daughter's wedding. That is just too Jerry Springer for a classy lady like you!
