BYOC

1. Last week we asked your favorite thing about being an adult. This week the question is: what is one thing you miss about being a child?

It would definitely be not having to worry and just being carefree. Also, when I was a child, my Dad was always with me and he's not anymore. I miss him so much.

2. When you make a serious life decision – do you use your head or your heart?

I usually start with my heart but my head usually kicks in at some point.

3. In relation to blogs….are you a never commenter, a sometimes commenter, an almost always commenter or a direct emailer kinda person?

I try to comment as much as I can.

4. If life was a flavor – would it be savory, sweet or sour?

Savory for the most part with a little sweet thrown in!

5. Repeat question. Summarize your week in life or in blogland.
stressing out and fantasizing about chicago!!!

This was a great week for me! I had a fill which was so very needed and thanks to Miss Steph, I was able to go in two weeks sooner as she gave me her appointment! I went shopping and brought home a few size 12 Jeans (although according to Joey's article they are probably a size 14!) that made me very happy. I am now shooting for size 10's!

I am beside myself with excitement about the upcoming week....just when you think it cant get any better, we have a BOOB's weekend coming up!

Thousand word Thursday!

As per the lovely Amy, we were to pick our favorite piece of bling and explain why!

No, its not my engagement ring or my diamond wedding band. My favorite piece of bling is the thin white gold band I wear closest to my heart!

Let me explain: Steve and I already had our wedding planned for September. We were having a tradional but very small, wedding with our family and closest friends. One day in April, he comes home and asks me to marry him. I said, "uh, yea, we've been through this already, remember? September 20th? You, me, the girls, getting married!" He than says, "no, I mean now. I want to marry you now." He went on to explain that he was worried that if something happened to him between then (April) and September, my girls and I wouldn't be on his medical insurance and he didn't want to take that chance! Of course, my first thought was "is there something you are not telling me? Did you just find out you have cancer, God forbid?" He told me "no, he just didnt' want to take the chance that if something were to happen to him, we would not have coverage."

So, we made arrangements to get married on April 14th. Just a simple ceremony, just to make us legal. We would still have the "Celebration of our Marriage" in Sept. as planned. Great. Two days before the "wedding", we were in Walmart and I asked him what we would do about wedding rings as the ones we ordered would not be in for our wedding in two days. He said we didn't need rings for this wedding, we'd exchange rings in Sept. I explained that I wouldn't feel married without a band, any band would do. We walked over to the jewelery counter and bought my $28.88 14K White Gold band! He than asked if he could cancel the diamond band that was previously ordered and I told him absolutely not! He didn't give me that one until Sept.

Everytime I look at that Walmart ring I am reminded how lucky we both are to have found each other. I not only found a great guy to love and take care of me but my children found their Bonus-Dad who loves them unconditionally.

Thank you Steph!

I just left Dr D's office with .5 cc's more in my band! I am praying that this fill puts me in the green zone.

I told my doc about going to Chicago next week and that I planned on eating a Chicago hot dog and he said I could share it with a few of you. he is happy with my progress and said I will lose all my excess weight if I keep doing what I am doing.

We are now heading to Jupiter FLORIDA to have lunch with Steves cousins. It will be a liquid lunch for me! Hopefully we will get home in time for me to go to spin class at 5:30.

179.6....4 times!!!!

Yup...that's right, I got on my scale and was met with 179.6, again, again and again! I will take it!

I am running out in 10 minutes but wanted to post my food and exercise for today. We are going out to dinner tonight at an Italian restaurant and I am going to order Tuscan Chicken which is grilled chicken chunks with chunky veggies in an oil and garlic type sauce. I am totally guessing on the calories but on myfitnesspal.com they have an Olive Garden Tuscan Chicken recipe for about 1100 calories so I will go with 1/2 of that for the amount I will eat (if I even eat that much!)

B - S.E.I Max Protein Chocolate/Coconut shake, OMG! tasted like a Mounds Bar!
L - 3 oz. tuna with light mayo on 1/2 whole grain light Eng. Muffin
D - Tuscan Chicken and maybe a little of Steves salad
S - 1/2 c. Protein Ice Cream that I made (one of Shelly's recipes, delish!)

1100 Calories for the day - 120g protein!

Exercise:
1 hour cardio = 420 calories burned

Last but not least, tomorrow I go for my fill! Thank you Stephanie!

Todays menu and surprise on the scale

This morning when I jumped on my scale I was welcomed with 179.8! WHAT? I didn't believe it. Well, I should have quit while I was ahead because the next 3 times I got on I weighed 180.4 :( Its all good though because the day before, I was 181.8 so it is definitely going down and I will be in the 170's very soon!

I know that my having the band was supposed to help me stay away from the "diet mentality" but I have to admit, with my having no or close to no restriction, counting calories helps me stay on track and stay focused. So, without furter ado, the following is my menu for today! Question, is too much protein a bad thing? Total protein for today will be 90g and total calories will be 1028.

B - S.E.I. Max Protein chocolate shake with strawberries
L - Chobani Plain Yogurt with 1/2 cup Kashi go lean crisp cereal mixed in
D - 4 oz. chopsteak with mushroom gravy, couple stalks asparagus & 1/2 cup of mashed potatos
S - SF Jello pudding with SF whipped cream

Exercise:45 minute spin class

80 - 100 oz. of water

Oprah, Accountability, Kindle and weird bone

She gave her audience of 300 a trip to Australia this December! Can you imagine? Doesn't she know that BOOB's are coming to her town and we could've went with her?

I will start witht he Kindle first! It arrived today and so far, I love it. I have downloaded a book and will start reading tonight.

Second, I have this weird bone/thing and I am not sure what it is. I can only feel it if I am laying down on my back. It is kind of at the point where my ribs meet right under where my bra strap would be. I swear i thought it was my band! Hubs says no, he has it too but I don't feel it on him like I feel it on me. Any thoughts?

Starting tody, I am going to post every day even it is only my food and exercise for the day!

Exercise: 1 hour step class
B- Strawberry protein drink with fresh strawberries
L- 3 oz tuna, 1 tbs. light mayo, 1 whole grain eng muffin (I only ate 1/2 of the muffin)
S- Click Mocha Espresso Protein drink with added sugar free chocolate YUMMO!
D- Egg Frittata with approximately 2 eggs, parmasan cheese, tomatoe and a few leftover oven fries mixed in
S- sugar free Jello pudding with sugar free whip cream

I am determined to get at least 60 grams of protein in each day as I seem to be slacking in this area. Todays total is 82g! My total calories will be 920...a little low as I am trying to stay around 1200. The scale is finally moving a little downward but still 1 lb away from my low of 180. I am getting a fill on Thursday (THANK YOU STEPH!) and hope to be in the 170's by this time next week. Wish me luck!

At the mall

The stores don't open until noon (who knew?) but don't worry the food court is in full force! I. have been here since 11, drinking my water :) watching people. It is amazing what people eat on a Sun morning! Pizza, micky d's, chinese, etc.

I am waiting for Macys to open to look for a dress for boobs. I can also use a pair of jeans that fit! I thought we had a GAP here but we don't. I want to try the curvy style in a 12. I am not sure I am there yet but my 14s are too big! I may have too order online.

ok its almost noon so I am outta here. wish me luck!
