As of today, I am down 12.6 lbs. I did not have to do a pre-op diet so that is a solid average of 2 lbs per week. I am feeling some restriction again since having my first fill on Monday and I am really feeling it that I am on my way to thinness! I cannot remember when I lost this consistently in the past with WW. My goal is 1 lb. per week so I am one happy camper today.
I had a really good day with Steve today....yes, everyday is a good day but some days are extra good. We met clients at noon to show them condo's on the ocean. After spending 3 hours with them (we think they will buy one of them) we left them and stopped for lunch at this little Gourmet Market. I suggested that we get a chicken/pesto/avocado panini and split it. Great idea he said! My husband is a bean pole and food is so not important to him! Anyway, I bit into my half like I didn't have a band and guess what? It got a little jammed after two bites! I was fine in a minute so I am sure it was not a PB. I than started picking the sandwich apart which was a clue to Steve that I was feeling restriction. The second clue was when I offered him my bread! I ended up eating the chicken and avocado and felt full. Yay! He ate my picked over bread and all was well with the world.
When we got home I saw that my boyfriend, AKA UPS man, made a delivery, Yes! My Click Mocha Espresso arrived. I was so excited as I have been salivating over those Dark Cherry Mocha's that Starbucks has been shoveling down my throat and when Jen, A Southern Girls Journey, said she ordered the Click and bought sugar-free cherry syrup, well that sounded mighty fine to me so I did the same. I couldn't decide if I wanted it hot or iced but went with the iced. I put it in my Magic Bullet with a few ice cubes. Ok, so Starbucks does not have to worry but it really wasn't bad at all! It took care of my caffeine fix I needed and also gave me a cherry/chocolate fix with 15 grams of protein at the same time! The best part is that at 120 calories, it is almost half of the calories of the Starbucks drink (skinny/no whip).
In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, I am making Turkey Taco's for dinner, mmmmm. Worse case scenario, I will only eat the filling and not the taco. I am sure the ground turkey will go down easy enough.
Happy Cinco de Mayo to all!

I can't believe it has been six weeks! You are doing really well!
Congrats on your steady progress. For me it's only been a week and a couple of days and I assume the time will continue to crawl until I'm on to mushies...full liquids SUCK.
Wow! That 6 weeks did go by fast! Nice pictures of your family!
Far out, time really does go fast when you're having fun. Look at you go too. Having a fun time :) xxx
Congratulations on the first 6 weeks of the rest of your life. Sounds like a little stuck episode but not a full on PB - if you want to read about a terrible PB/stuck episode, I had a hideous one yesterday! Nasty.
6 weeks has flown by!! You are doing really great with your loss and it sounds like there is a little restriction there already, awesome! I haven't had but one serving of my Click, like you said Starbucks doesn't have to worry but if it's a pretty good substitute.
Happy Cinco de Mayo!
You are really doing great!!!
