We will be flying to Long Island, NY tomorrow and will be spending the week with my sister. Jimmy will be put to rest this coming Monday and will be waked on Sat and Sun. We will than have a Memorial Service for my dad in the coming weeks.
I'm not sure if I will be able to post or comment during this time but know that I will still be reading your posts. This community has become my drug of choice and I need you all on this journey if I am to succeed. And I will succeed, my dad said so.

I didn't understand this post until I went back a few - but with a sense of foreboding. How do I tell you, my heart breaks for you - for you and your family. What a senseless tragedy. I want you to know I will be thinking of you all in this time - and try to take care of yourself. It's going to be a little rough. Glad your husband made it back safe too. Ahhh shit. xxxx

Yes, you absolutely will succeed - your dad is up above now pulling strings and granting your wishes. I know that can never resolve the loss, though, but you will always have him and your brother in law in your heart.
