This week is flying! I have my doctors appointment tomorrow to go over the results of my CT Scan of my ankle from 2 weeks ago. I was told in June that I have 3 choices: 1. live with the pain, 2. cortisone shot or 3. surgery. I chose cortisone. Up until a month ago I felt like I had a brand new ankle. Not a hint of pain! About a month ago, out of the blue, BAM! pain is back big time. This went on for 2 or 3 days and that was it. I have had a few occurances of "oh crap, its coming back" but than it disappears again. I am hoping he is able to give me another shot as I really do not want to get side-lined by surgery right now. I feel like that would really derail me as I depend on my exercising to lose weight!
I spent 45 minutes this morning with my trainer than did a 45 minute spin class. It wiped me out but it felt good at the same time. I have finally realized that I need to exercise....when i do, I feel good the rest of the day!
My eating today was as follows:
b - S.E.I Max protein chocolate coconut shake w/ skim milk
s - banana
l - Chobani Plain non-fat yogurt with Kashi cereal
s - slice of turkey and slice of swiss cheese
d - 1/2 cup rice with marinara sauce and a poached egg
total calories - 919
total protein - 83g

Less food than me.. Wow... Sorry about the ankle. Cortisone sounds like fun when the football guys rave about it. Wonder where I can get me some...
